چکیده
This paper investigates intelligent reflecting surface based backscatter communication (IRS-BackCom), in order to realize computational task offloading of energy-constrained mobile edge computing network a self-sustainable manner. Specifically, the system operation is divided into two phases. In first one, ambient signal energy from power beacon (PB) either provides supply local and harvesting circuits, or flows storage, when reaching IRS. second stored used enable IRS-BackCom for partial data energize circuit. Based on this, maximization problem sum bits formulated. By jointly optimizing beamforming vector at PB, matrix IRS, time scheduling two-phase process, as well computing, are maximized. addition, this proposes element clustering BackCom, so reduce control computation complexity According different operating mechanisms, cluster modes considered, namely independent mode joint mode. Simulation results demonstrate achievable by proposed schemes.

In this paper, we explore the impacts of utilizing intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) in a power-splitting based simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (PS-SWIPT) system and compare its performance with the traditional decode and forward relaying system. To analyze a more practical system, it is also assumed that the receiving nodes are subject to decoding cost, and they are on...
متن کاملDistance-Based Opportunistic Mobile Data Offloading
Cellular network data traffic can be offload onto opportunistic networks. This paper proposes a Distance-based Opportunistic Publish/Subscribe (DOPS) content dissemination model, which is composed of three layers: application layer, decision-making layer and network layer. When a user wants new content, he/she subscribes on a subscribing server. Users having the contents decide whether to deliv...
متن کاملAn Anycast Communication Model for Data Offloading in Intermittently-Connected Hybrid Networks
For billions of people, mobile phones have become essential communication means to produce and share multimedia contents. Most current sharing solutions rely on centralized online solutions, requiring a permanent Internet connectivity, with the consequence of increasing –and sometimes of overloading– the networks of mobile operators. This paper presents an anycast communication model allowing t...
